Salesforce business analyst is a project-based, business-improvement role. Business analysts help guide businesses to improve business processes and efficiency in Salesforce. You will elicit, document, and analyse requirements around business challenges, and then produce data-driven solutions. Think of the Salesforce business analyst like an interpreter. You will be the go-to person when it comes to communication between IT and business stakeholders to ensure all involved work together to attain the best results.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead client workshops to collect and document client business requirements and objectives for the implementation
  • Understand and translate client requirements to applicable system configurations, test scripts, and other artifacts required for implementation
  • Coordinate with multiple technical teams to accomplish data and application changes across environments
  • Configure, test, and deploy solutions in alignment with client requirements, and monitor deliverables to ensure on-time delivery of projects and tasks
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with both client and internal personnel
  • Manage client expectations related to system capabilities with transparency to any requirements that fall out-of-scope or otherwise
  • Perform routine analysis of new and existing data from disparate sources and business processes to improve data integrity and completeness
  • Identify product requirements and provide feedback for future product enhancements

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of Business Analyst experience within a Salesforce consulting environment, including experience translating business requirements into technical details
  • Background in the healthcare industry
  • Salesforce implementation experience is a plus; Salesforce admin, consulting, and/or development certifications are required.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including leading large-group presentations with confidence
  • Mature leadership within a consulting environment, including leading a client through their vision, thinking downstream on side effects and potential hang-ups, and the ability to cross and up-sell
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills
  • Demonstrated experience in developing custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and triggers in SFDC.
  • SFDC Administration Certification and Advanced Administration Certification. If you have consulting certifications this will be an added value.
  • Ability to identify areas for process improvement
